URI (JAMMU & KASHMIR) — Celebrated television personality and Srinagar native Hina Khan paid an inspirational visit on Thursday to the Army Goodwill School located in the border area of Boniyar, Uri sector. Interacting closely with the students, she urged the young minds to stay relentlessly focused on turning their career ambitions into reality.
Khan, widely recognized for her standout performances in primetime serials such as “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” and “Kasautii Zindagii Kay”, toured the campus, observed the teaching facilities, and engaged in candid conversations with both faculty members and learners.
“It was a truly wonderful experience to come here and witness the remarkable confidence of these young students. I was delighted to learn that several students from this remote location have successfully cracked prestigious exams like NEET.”
The 38-year-old actress highlighted how deeply impressed she was by the student body’s clear-cut vision for the future, noting that despite living in border regions, their focus on becoming future doctors, engineers, and professionals remains steadfast.
Commending the management and supportive learning environment, Khan extended special praise to the defense authorities for establishing accessible learning institutions in far-off regions.
“The entire education here is subsidized, and immense credit belongs to the defense forces for creating such top-tier institutions in far-flung pockets. I even suggested extending similar models into main cities so that more students gain access to such quality learning and dedicated educators.”
