Major Administrative Milestone: 14 Senior JKAS Officers Formally Inducted into Indian Administrative Service (IAS)
NEW DELHI / SRINAGAR: In a major career milestone for Jammu and Kashmir’s civil administration, 14 senior officers belonging to the Jammu & Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) have been formally inducted into the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS).
The Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training) issued the formal notification after the President of India granted approval to the select promotion lists cleared for the vacancy years 2019 and 2020. The inducted officers have been allocated the Joint AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory) cadre.
